VERY C.R.I.S.P.Y Ka-Ri-Pok (local slang), I love Penang! Malaysian, Singaporean and Thai people know what Curry Puff is – conventionally, this snack filled with curry chicken and potatoes. I’m at my hometown, Bukit Mertajam now! I found a very special Juru (a town situated in Seberang Prai Tengah) Curry Puff street vendor in front of Billion Shopping Centre (Kota Permai) this afternoon. They have curry puffs with or without egg selling at $1.20 and $1, really cheap! In addition, they have puffs with sweet peanuts as filling too – quite popular with the locals.
Location: No. 2, Lorong Kota Permai 13, Taman Kota Permai, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang.
