Half-burned Giraffe Butter Biscuits Recipe

I’ve created a new tag in this blog named “Failed Recipe” with the aim of building a stronger heart. Albert Einstein said, “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new; success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” I tried to make some Giraffe Butter Biscuits with the purpose of decorating a cake but as what you can see. I failed.

How I make Half-burned Giraffe Butter Biscuits

Giraffe Butter Biscuits
First, I don’t have a Giraffe biscuit cutter, so what to do? I drew a Giraffe outline on a piece of paper which my mum thought that it was a bear and my fourth brother thought that it was a dinosaur. It’s GIRAFFE ok? I cut it out as an example and I drew a number of the same giraffe on a piece of baking paper. I mixed 20g softened butter with 15g sugar, added in 1 slightly beaten egg white and 45g plain flour. Then, I spooned the batter in a pastry bag fitted with a small round tip and squeezed out the giraffe according to what I had drawn. I planned to bake it for 15 minutes but around 10 minutes the biscuits have already half-burned. My Giraffe Butter Biscuits.. FAILED!
