Dining in Bangkok: Imoya Japanese Restaurant in Bangkok

Imoya Japanese Restaurant in Bangkok, a place full of memories. I have eaten at this restaurant more than 30 times. I went there almost every day for dinner during my short stay (two months) in Bangkok three years ago. Am I crazy? NO! I love the foods there. It was the best Japanese foods that I have ever had in my 25 years of life. I have never been to Japan, I shall go to Japan one day.

An old, dusty, Japanese restaurant for meal or sake, Imoya is located right next to The Emporium Shopping Mall. However, the restaurant is not obvious from the street (Soi Sukhumvit 24), hidden in an almost deserted building. The atmosphere there is good. The sushi-bar is great for solo drinkers, while friends and colleagues often gather around the low tables set on tatami mats. There are also regular tables, but make sure the other table does not smoke if you are not smokers.
