How to make Chinese White Fungus Chicken Soup
Ingredients:
4 chicken drumsticks, about 500g
60g white fungus or snow fungus
Water
Salt
Method:
1. Wash the chicken drumsticks.
2. Soak white fungus in water and pick out all foreign matter. Wash and drain (it will have expanded somewhat).
3. Bring water to a boil. Add chicken drumsticks, simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Add white fungus and continue to simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Add salt. Taste, adjust salt as needed.
Tips:
White Fungus must be soaked in water to soften it before use. It is generally reserved for preparing clear chicken soup.
